Let's get started
While Quik! has partnered with DocuSign and SIGNiX to enable users to e-sign their forms on those platforms, users can also e-sign forms in the Quik! App using Quik!'s own e-signature technology which we call Native E-Sign. Native E-Sign is intended for simple cases when DocuSign or SIGNiX is too expensive or too complex for your signing needs. For example, a signature among employees or simple acknowledgments and sales orders. Quik!'s Native E-Sign feature is not intended to replace the power, sophistication, and security that e-sign vendors provide (i.e., Native E-Sign is not a digital signature that is backed by certificates or private key infrastructure, it is only an electronic one). Quik! does NOT recommend Native E-Sign be used for financial transactions, healthcare transactions where HIPAA compliance is required, or other additional scenarios that require a higher level of security and compliance with privacy laws.
How To
Before e-signing a form with Native E-Sign, make sure you select Native E-Sign in the ESign Connection drop-down on the Launch page and launch your forms. (NOTE: there is no setup required to use Native E-Sign-- it's simply a free feature that you can use whenever you need to sign a form!)
When you are finished entering data in the Quik! Form Viewer and ready to use Native E-Sign, click the Sign button. Once clicked, the Quik! Viewer will automatically scroll to each page that requires a signature. You can choose to either skip a signature or draw your signature directly on the screen with your mouse or finger if using a touchscreen. Clicking the DONE button will cause the next signature field to appear, and the process is repeated until all signature fields are either skipped or signed.
Once finished, click the Print button to download the signed PDF. The last page of the PDF includes various signature information.
