Resetting MFA Access for Your Quik! App Account
With Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set up on your Quik! App account, you'll be prompted to sign in using an MFA access code every time you log in. If you lose access to your MFA app or are unable to generate the correct access code, you’ll need to reset your MFA connection to regain access.
Important Notes:
- Our Quik! Support Team cannot reset MFA on your behalf. Please follow the steps below to reset MFA for your account.
- Admins have the option to require MFA account-wide for their Quik! App users. In this case, reach out to your account admin to get help resetting your MFA.
Step-by-Step Guide to Resetting MFA:
1. Sign In to Quik! App:
- Open the Quik! App and begin logging in. You’ll be prompted to enter an MFA code.
- Under the "Do you need to set it up again?" message, tap Click Here.
2. Request a Reset Link:
- A pop-up will appear with an option to reset your MFA. Tap on Send Reset Link.
- Check your email inbox for the reset link. (If it doesn’t arrive, check your spam or junk folder.)
3. Use the Reset Link to Begin Setup:

- Open the reset email and tap Reset MFA. A new browser window will open.
4. Handle Existing MFA Connections (If Applicable):
- If you see a message stating, "You already have an active MFA connection," tap on Reset MFA Connection to proceed.
5. Validate Your Account and Set Up a New MFA Code:
- Ensure you have an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) installed on your device.
- Enter your Quik! password, then tap Validate.
- A QR code or Security Key will appear on your screen. You can use your authenticator app to scan the QR code or manually enter the Security Key.
6. Complete the Reset Process:
- After adding the QR code or Security Key to your authenticator app, a 6-digit passcode will be generated.
- Enter the 6-digit passcode in Quik! to finalize the setup.
- You’ll then return to the Quik! login screen and your MFA reset will be complete.
7. Optional: Trust Your Device
- After successfully resetting MFA, you can select Trust this device for 30 days on the login screen. This way, your trusted device won’t prompt for MFA again for 30 days, while other devices will still require MFA for added security.
