Overview
This article guides you through sending your Multi-Package workflow for e-signature using Quik!’s integrated e-sign platform. You’ll learn how to confirm signers, add recipients, customize email messaging, and choose your sending method. By the end, your packages will be ready for secure delivery to all parties for signature.
Prerequisites
All packages reviewed and ready in the Review step.
All forms in the package(s) are e-signable.
An active Docusign connection set up in your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Configure Signature Settings
You can choose to Configure globally or Configure per signer.
Configure globally sets the same Send Type, ID Check, and Signing Group for all assigned signers
Configure per signer lets you define these fields individually for each signer in the table
To switch between modes, click the link above the signer table:
“Configure per signer instead” (if configuring globally)
“Configure globally instead” (if configuring per signer)
If configuring per signer, complete or verify the following for each row:
Signers – Full legal name of the signer
Email – Signer’s email address
Send Type – How they will receive the forms (e.g., Email to Sign)
ID Check – Identity verification method (optional)
Signing Group – Assign to a Docusign group (optional)
Package columns – The rightmost columns show each signer’s assigned role in each package. These columns match the package names from your workflow. Values are prefilled based on where the signer’s signature is required.
To enforce a signing sequence, check Set signing order. A numbered Order column appears. You can update the order using the arrow icons.
2. Add Additional Recipients
To CC someone who does not need to sign:
Click Add Recipient
Enter the recipient’s name and email
These recipients receive a copy of the envelope but do not sign.
3. Assign Unassigned Roles (if needed)
Click Show Unassigned Roles to display all signer roles not yet assigned.
Each blank row allows assignment of a signer to unclaimed roles in the package
Clicking the gray X clears signer details in the row
4. Customize Email Messaging
Under Messaging, review or edit:
Subject – Default is “Please e-sign these forms”
Message – Add instructions, deadlines, or references to package names
All recipients see the same message content.
5. Send for E-Signature
Choose how to send the documents:
Sign Now – Sends immediately through Docusign
Edit in E-Sign Platform – Creates a draft in Docusign for further editing before sending
If you choose to edit in Docusign, log in to Docusign and send the envelope from your Drafts folder.
Helpful Tips
Signing Order Matters: If certain parties must sign before others, ensure their order numbers are set correctly.
Identity Verification: Use the ID Check option if additional signer authentication is required.
Bulk Packages: If sending multiple packages at once, all recipients will be included in the email message.
All Finished
If you clicked Sign Now, your envelopes have been sent through your connected e-sign platform, and your recipients will receive an email with signing instructions. You can track their progress directly in your e-sign platform.
If you used Edit in E-Sign Platform, complete and send your draft envelope from within Docusign to finish the process.
