Quik! can’t send every past version of a form. We only maintain the current production version and one version prior in our database. We don’t store any versions beyond those, so we can’t send older PDFs.
What We Keep
| Version | Description | Available? |
|---|---|---|
| Current production version | The version that is live in production today | Yes |
| One version prior | The version that was live before the current one, or the version pending in Final status | Yes |
| Any earlier version | Anything older than the above | No, these are not stored |
Checking What’s Live Right Now
If you manage a library in Quik! Forms Manager, each form record has two links:
| Link | Description |
|---|---|
| View Publish | The version currently live in production |
| View Final | The version waiting to be published |
Normally these show the same file. If an update has been completed but not yet published, the Final version contains the latest changes.
What We Can Still Provide
Even though we can’t send older PDFs, we can share the history around them:
- The dates the form was updated with new versions
- In most cases, who requested each update
Please email us at forms@quikforms.com to request this.
Keep Your Own Copies
Because older versions aren’t stored on our side, we recommend that you retain your own copies of your PDFs. Save a copy of each version when it is published or when you upload it, so you always have your own record of every version.
