Overview
If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app or can’t generate your MFA code, you’ll need to reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to sign back into your Quik! App account. This guide walks you through the MFA reset process.
Prerequisites
-
A Quik! account with MFA previously enabled
-
Access to the email address associated with your account
-
An installed authenticator app, such as:
-
Your Quik! account password
Important Notes
-
Quik! Support cannot reset MFA on your behalf. Only you (or your Admin) can initiate the reset.
-
🛡️ If MFA is enforced account-wide, the reset must be performed by your Admin.
-
⏳ Reset links expire after 1 hour. If expired, request a new one from the login screen.

All other devices will still require an MFA code for extra security.

If You Can’t Reset MFA Yourself
If you don’t see the option to reset MFA, it likely means your organization has enforced MFA across all accounts.
In this case, please contact your Quik! Admin or Enterprise App Admin to request an MFA reset.
Admins: Follow the steps in How to Reset MFA for Users Without Self-Reset Access.
Admins: Enforce MFA for All Users
Quik! Admins can choose to enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across their entire organization to strengthen account security and meet compliance standards.
⚠️ We strongly recommend notifying your users in advance before enabling enforcement. This gives them time to download an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) and prepare for setup during their next login.
Enabling this setting will immediately require MFA for all user accounts in your organization.
When MFA Is Enforced:
-
All users will be required to set up MFA at their next login.
-
Users cannot skip MFA setup or reset it themselves.
-
If a user is locked out, they must contact a Quik! App Administrator for assistance.
How to Enforce MFA Across All Users:
-
Log in to the Quik! Admin Dashboard.
-
Go to Settings > Security > Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
-
Toggle the switch to Enable MFA for All Users.
