Alternate Data Buttons
Alternate Data Buttons let users prefill form fields with any available client data sent to the form. This reduces manual entry and improves accuracy. Instead of only using default client roles like Owner 1 or Beneficiary 1, users can insert data from any listed record.
This guide is for all users working with multi-party forms or forms that receive multiple client records.
Prerequisites

A form that receives multiple client records (e.g., Owner, Beneficiary, Rep)

At least one field group that supports Alternate Data Buttons
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Identify the Alternate Data Button

Look for a plus (+) icon next to supported field blocks (e.g., Contact Name, SSN).

This icon indicates that alternate data is available for that block.
2. Open the Choose Alternate Data Pop-Up

Click the plus (+) icon.

The Choose Alternate Data pop-up will appear.
3. Select a Record from the List

All client and rep records passed into the form will appear.

Click the record you want to use.

The form will insert that data into the selected block.
