Overview
When you send a single form package for e-signature, you'll now see a full E-Sign step — the same streamlined screen previously available only for multi-form packages. This makes it faster to configure signer settings, see which forms each signer needs to sign, and send your package to DocuSign, all from one screen.
Before you begin
This only applies to packages sent for e-signature through DocuSign. You'll need to have already selected your form package and assigned contacts to the roles on your forms.
Steps
- Select your form or form bundle and assign contacts to each signing role as you normally would.
- Launch your forms and click Confirm.
- You'll be taken to the E-Sign step.
- Review the Forms Included column to see which forms each role is required to sign.
- If your package includes roles that weren't assigned a signer, you can hide them from the screen to reduce clutter.
- To apply the same settings to multiple signers at once, use the bulk configuration option to set the Identity Check and other signer settings for all selected roles in one step, instead of setting them one at a time.
- When you're ready to send, you can either:
- Continue as before, or
- Turn on the option to automatically create the DocuSign envelope directly from Quik. With this turned on, your DocuSign envelope opens in a new browser tab as soon as it's created.
- To configure the automatic envelope creation option ahead of time, go to the eSignature tab and look under DocuSign properties.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Why don't I see the new E-Sign screen for my single form package?
This update applies to packages sent through DocuSign. If you're still seeing the previous pop-up window, reach out to support.
What happened to the old "Prepare to Sign" pop-up?
For single form packages, that pop-up has been replaced by the new E-Sign screen described above, so all the same settings are still available — just in a screen instead of a pop-up.
