Overview
If your firm has proprietary forms you would like to make available in the Quik! App, you can easily request that we add them. Proprietary forms are forms that belong to your firm and can only be modified by your firm. Once added, these forms will be accessible through your firm’s forms library, allowing you and your authorized users to generate them.
This article explains how proprietary forms work in Quik! and how you can request that your forms be added.

Prerequisites
- You must be authorized to manage proprietary forms on behalf of your firm.
- Your firm must have an active Quik! account with access to a private forms library or a designated public library.
- Forms should be submitted in a standard format (PDF preferred).
How Proprietary Forms Work in Quik!
What Are Proprietary Forms?
Proprietary forms belong to a specific firm, and only that firm has the authority to add, update, delete, or modify them within the Quik! Platform.
For example:
- Forms in the Pershing library are proprietary to Pershing. Only Pershing employees can modify those forms within Quik!.
- Firms cannot control or modify forms that do not belong to their proprietary library.
These forms are published as part of a forms library, which can be either public or private.
Public vs. Private Libraries

Public Libraries
Public libraries are typically used by product sponsors or clearing firms that want all Quik! users to view and generate their forms. -
Private Libraries
Private libraries are generally used by broker-dealers or firms that want to limit access to forms to only pre-approved financial professionals or internal users.
In both cases, only the firm that owns the proprietary forms can request modifications to those forms and their associated metadata.
How to Add Your Firm’s Proprietary Forms
If you have proprietary forms you would like Quik! to build and add to your library:
- Email your forms to forms@quikforms.com.
- Include any relevant instructions or metadata you want associated with the forms (such as version dates, form usage notes, or special processing instructions).

Once Your Forms Are Ready
Once your proprietary forms are published:
- They will appear in your firm’s forms library in the Quik! App.
- Users can search for the forms by your company name (for example, "Steve’s Financial Services, Inc.").
- Only users with the appropriate permissions (based on your public or private library settings) will have access to generate these forms.
