Use the Quik! Vault to manage client data if you’re not connected to a supported CRM, switching firms, or want direct control inside the Quik! App. The Vault allows you to upload data from a CSV file using our Quik! Template or enter it manually.
💡 Tip: For manual entry, see Client Vault – Deleting & Editing Client Records.
Prerequisites
Access to the Quik! App
A CSV file with clean, properly formatted data
Recommended: Download the QuikDataEntryTemplate.xlsx (scroll to the bottom) to streamline mapping
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose Your Upload Method
Go to the Client Vault section of the Quik! App. You will see two options:
Upload .CSV
Manual Input
Select Upload .CSV to import bulk data from another system.
2. Prepare Your CSV File
Before uploading, ensure your CSV meets the following requirements:
File must be saved in .csv format (not an Excel file renamed with a .csv extension)
First row must contain unique column headers
Any value with commas must be enclosed in double quotes (e.g.,
"123 Main St, Suite 4")No blank rows or line breaks
-
Each record must include either:
Entity Name
or First Name and Last Name
✅ The system will try to fix errors during upload. If errors can't be fixed, the file will be rejected.

Click Upload .CSV
Select your CSV file
Click GO! to begin the upload
4. Map Fields
Once the file uploads successfully, the Field Mapping interface will appear.
If you used the Quik! CSV Template, most fields will map automatically
If not, map your CSV headers to Quik! fields by dragging them into place
💾 Save Template if you plan to reuse this field setup later
📂 Load Template to apply a previously saved mapping to a new upload
5. Handle Duplicates
After clicking Add to Vault, choose how to handle duplicate records:
Keep Vault clients
Override Vault with CSV clients
Then click Add to Vault!
6. Review Imported Data
You’ll be taken back to the Vault. Your new client records are now visible and ready for use in the Quik! App.
